SD 90 and SD 90+ are water-based, surface coating formulas that include an antimicrobial product which protects the coating itself from bacteria, mold, and mildew that cause unsightly stains, and odors. The invisible coatings formed by these products can last from 90 days up to 1 year and help reduce the accumulation of dirt, grease, and grime……making surfaces easier to clean.
How SD 90 and SD 90+ works:
Where most commercial cleaners are primarily effective only when wet, SD Labs’ surface coating products form a durable coating that, when dry, controls odor causing and surface damaging microorganisms for extended periods of time. Because the products bond at the molecular level, routine cleaning or disinfecting processes (using non-abrasive products and tools) do not degrade the coatings.
TECHNOLOGY
SD 90 and SD 90+ products are made with a proprietary formulation designed to create a coating that physically traps microbes and prevents their growth. The coating is continuously protected from the accumulation of surface damaging and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew for many months per application.
The coating formulation is stabilized with surface tension releasers and other ingredients allowing the products to be applied to almost any surface. Due to the unique chemistry of SD 90 and SD 90+, surface penetration and adherence to a substrate are optimized and have been engineered to withstand greater levels of wear and tear when compared to other products on the market. SD 90 and SD 90+ offer an industry-leading level of performance for long-term durability. Proper surface cleaning and disinfecting should always be performed prior to the application of the coatings and throughout their life.
Applications of SD 90 and SD 90 + are performed by factory certified technicians using our proprietary electrostatic spray technology. Through this process, we assure that all areas are covered with the appropriate amount of product to ensure long-lasting activity.

chemistry is non-leaching, non-sacrificial and cannot be absorbed through the skin when dried. The “always on” activity of SD Lab’s coatings can lead to less frequent and easier surface cleaning and disinfecting….saving both time and money. It is important to note that the coating must be wiped or cleaned to prevent dirt or other debris from creating a layer on top of the product coating which will impede the ability of microorganisms to contact the coating.
